This hike was the fourth leg of the Skyline-to-the-Sea series — Big Basin headquarters to Berry Creek Falls. We hiked this series to honor the memory of Tony Look who passed away August 5 this year. Tony — among all his other accomplishments — was instrumental in organizing the construction of the Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail in 1969 in one weekend by 2,500 volunteers.

The weather was again perfect for the hike, sunny and warm, although coler than last week. The plan was to hike the Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail from Waddel Beach to Berry Creek Falls, then return to the beach.
